AMANDA HEFFLEY
2020 DSA SENIOR
I’ve always been interested in taxidermy and the bridge between science and art, so I based my projects this year on old scientific models and mounted specimens. I like to work with materials like aluminum foil, masking tape, sculpt clay, and papier-mâché. My lifelong fascination with museums and taxidermy has led me to Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, where I will be studying museum curation and management.
